The sun was at its peak in the centre of the sky, without a single cloud to block its light; the perfect type of weather to compliment Kurenai’s style of training…She was defiantly glad she lived in the fire country; it was so rare to get a dull day here.
The young kunoichi was perched on one of the higher branches of a tree, which seemed sturdy enough to support her bodyweight. The genin looked up to the sky and squinted her crimson eyes as the sun hit them; she raised a hand, looking as though she were trying to block out the light. However, when her palm was stretched upwards a glare of light hit the mirrors of her gloves, and throughout the foliage shimmers were created; shimmers of kunais and shuriken to be more precise.
Kurenai eyed up every glint she could find carefully, all of which conjured in the areas she had hoped they would. She grinned to herself, feeling as though she had achieved something; steadily her accuracy was getting better.
It only took a moment for her smile to fade as her body went backward, and using her bent knees and stiff legs the genin hung upside down from the branch, with a lack of anything better to do. An exasperated sigh escaped her lips.
“Now what?”
Her hair fell in a curtain beneath her upside body as the blood rushed to her head. In a perfect world she would’ve gone onto genjutsu training; but that was pretty impossible when there was no one else about to train on.
“I can’t exactly practice on inanimate objects…” She mused out-loud, looking a little annoyed that not only was the training area empty, but she’d have to go and collect all those weapons back up again if she didn’t find something to do.
